A Welcoming Family-Friendly Play Café
LB’s Coffee Shop is a cosy, inviting family sanctuary that perfectly demonstrates what a modern play café can be. The space offers an ideal blend of a warm, welcoming atmosphere for grownups and a fun-packed, imaginative play area for little ones.
Designed by Local Parents, Inspired by Nature
Created for local parents Jon and Jess, the play area features a contemporary yet playful interpretation of the LB’s Coffee Shop brand. At its heart sits a central treehouse that extends into the room, inviting children to explore, clamber, jump and slide within a safe and engaging environment.
Aesthetic Harmony With the Café’s Rustic Interior
To complement the café’s rustic charm—complete with wooden beams and exposed brickwork—we kept the play equipment’s aesthetic natural and understated. Using earthy browns, green fabrics, and wood stains, along with a soft, durable woodgrain-effect fabric for the central ‘tree’, we ensured the installation feels fully integrated with the wider space.
A Safe and Engaging Baby Play Zone
The dedicated soft play baby corner offers plenty of room for the youngest visitors to crawl, explore sensory panels, stack soft play blocks, and discover themselves in mirrors. Thoughtfully planned sightlines allow parents to easily keep an eye on their children across all play zones, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable experience for the whole family.
