An Enchanting Place To Play
The Wildling Collective is a play cafe in Worcester, UK which aims to create an imaginative environment for children to be creative and have ‘the freedom to express their inner little wildling’. The design we created for them has three distinct areas, catered for different age groups.
A Variety Of Play Zones
The quiet area offers a calming space and has an ever-popular reading nook. The 2-5’s area features striking cylindrical climbing towers with plenty of space to roam in and around the structure.
The main play area includes an enchanted tree filled with light tubes, a contemporary climbing zone and three levels of play with plentiful routes up, down and across.
Natural and Sustainable Materials
As always, there was a focus on sustainability in this design. The play structure was made from our responsibly sourced timber and featured cork cladding throughout. We like using cork because its biodegradable, self-regenerative and doesn’t contribute to deforestation. The Wildling Collective is a beautiful space for the whole family to enjoy, and a good example of how a play space can be stylish, without compromising the play value.
