The Brief
Louma Country Hotel approached Tigerplay to design and deliver a premium indoor hotel playroom that would strengthen its family offering while making the most of a compact footprint.
The objective was to create a dedicated kids’ club environment that combined active soft play, imaginative role play and creative activities, providing an engaging space for younger guests while complementing the hotel’s high-quality surroundings. As with many family-focused hospitality venues, the investment was intended to enhance the guest experience, encourage longer stays and support repeat bookings.

Working closely with the Louma Country Hotel team, we developed a layout that maximised the available 10m x 5m footprint without feeling crowded. Distinct activity zones allow children to explore different styles of play while maintaining clear sightlines for parents and carers.

The Hotel Playroom Solution
The completed indoor play area combines a range of experiences designed specifically for children aged 0–5 years, creating a destination that appeals to families throughout their stay.
A bespoke multi-level soft play frame forms the centrepiece of the space, encouraging climbing, exploration and physical development while making efficient use of vertical space. Alongside this, a role play village supports imaginative and social interaction through carefully designed themed environments.
For younger visitors, a dedicated baby soft play area provides a safe, age-appropriate environment where toddlers can build confidence through sensory and physical play. An integrated arts and crafts area introduces a quieter activity space, giving families greater choice and encouraging longer dwell times within the hotel.
