A Woodland Adventure Brought Indoors

Nestled in the heart of Bernin, France, Chill & Kids set out to create a play café where families could relax, connect and explore together. We were tasked with transforming this vision into an immersive world of adventure, a space where nature-inspired play meets modern family comfort.

Climbing Into The Imagination

At the centre of the experience stands a towering climbing tree, crafted to feel both enchanting and inviting. Children ascend through its branches to reach a hidden mezzanine level, revealing a secret world of further play. From here, they can launch themselves into a spiralling slide that sweeps them back to the forest floor in a rush of excitement.

To deepen the sense of immersion, the space features bespoke printed flooring that mimics woodland textures, complemented by sensory lighting that shifts the atmosphere from bright and playful to soft and magical. Every fun feature was carefully considered to spark curiosity and wonder at every turn.

A Contemporary Role Play Village

Alongside the adventure zone, we designed a charming role-play village where imaginations can roam freely. Complete with a school, vets, supermarket and coffee shop, each mini-venue has been finished with a modern, playful aesthetic that encourages storytelling and social play. Little ones can shop, learn, care for animals or run their own café, all within a beautifully crafted, child-scaled environment.
