Bonkerz Indoor Play Café – Washington, USA

The founders of Bonkerz approached us with a vision for an indoor play cafe inspired by Montessori principles. Their goal was to create a cohesive, engaging environment tailored for children aged 0–7, across three carefully designed zones.

This play cafe design includes a main play frame area, a dedicated baby and toddler zone, and a third space focused on imaginative role play. Each zone was strategically planned to encourage creativity, movement, and sensory development, which are all key considerations when setting up a play cafe.

To reflect the client’s strong brand identity, we matched custom colors for the painted elements and coordinated all material finishes, resulting in a unified and inviting interior.

The main play area features two slides, stepping platforms, and a climbing wall—ideal for challenging and entertaining older children. The baby and toddler area includes a custom dome slide, sensory light tube, and interactive activity panels, designed with early developmental milestones in mind.

The imaginative play zone offers a complete role play setup with a mail room (including soft branded play parcels), a laundry room, a dressing-up station, and even a performance stage—perfect for budding young actors.
