Hoburne Holiday Park - The Cotswolds, UK

Tigerplay is proud to have delivered a bespoke, high-specification play space for Hoburne Holiday Parks at their stunning Cotswold site, in collaboration with NBDA Architects. This thoughtfully designed environment caters to children aged 0–8 and embraces an ‘outside-in’ theme, paying tribute to the site’s natural beauty with expansive windows offering serene views across the lake.

From the outset, our concept design team worked closely with the client to understand their vision and operational goals. Thanks to a clear and collaborative design process, our initial concept was approved with only two minor amendments—a testament to how well the bespoke design aligned with Hoburne’s aspirations.

The final result is a meticulously crafted space that blends architectural sensitivity with premium play value. At its heart are two striking climbing towers connected by rope bridges, inviting children to scale, navigate and imagine. A sweeping spiral tube slide adds a thrilling descent, while an interactive climbing wall introduces an element of challenge and skill-based play.

Younger visitors are catered for with a separate, soft-play babies’ zone—a gentle, sensory-rich environment that encourages safe exploration and quality bonding time with caregivers. Integrated throughout the space are interactive sensory lights, offering dynamic visual engagement that captivates and stimulates across age groups.

As a signature design flourish, the main towers are encircled by LED lighting, transforming the structure into a glowing centrepiece. These lighting elements enhance the overall ambiance and create a stunning visual focal point, especially in low light—delivering the coveted ‘wow factor’ for families entering the space.

This project exemplifies Tigerplay’s ability to design and deliver bespoke, premium environments that combine imaginative aesthetics with functional, age-appropriate play. The result is a captivating, multi-sensory experience that reflects the surrounding landscape, supports a wide range of developmental play, and elevates the overall guest experience at Hoburne’s Cotswold site.
