This installation at Blue Diamond’s Cadbury Garden Centre is one of our most ambitious and thoughtfully tailored projects to date—an immersive, multi-sensory play environment designed specifically for children aged 0 to 8. This bespoke play space, named ‘The Treehouse’ blends creativity, functionality, and sustainability to deliver a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

At the heart of the design is a striking, custom-built central tree structure that commands attention and sparks the imagination. This signature feature offers three dynamic levels of adventure, each brimming with diverse play opportunities. Children can navigate multiple routes that branch out into the surrounding structure, encouraging exploration, physical activity, and imaginative role-play.

The main play area features an engaging mix of activities including an interactive climbing wall, a sensory den tailored to stimulate young minds, and playful ball cannons that challenge aim and coordination with oversized targets. Every element is designed to provide layered, age-appropriate engagement that grows with the child.

For our 3-5-year-old visitors, the design offers an equally enriching experience. This area has been carefully planned to encourage independent discovery, with varied routes for climbing, sliding, and crawling that promote both gross motor skills and confidence through self-directed play.

Understanding the unique needs of our youngest guests, we’ve also created a dedicated baby zone—a soft, welcoming space where infants can safely crawl, explore textured surfaces, or share a quiet moment reading with their caregiver.

Every aspect of this installation has been thoughtfully considered to reflect our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. From the recycled bottle ‘refelt’ leaves adorning the tree canopy to the frame built using responsibly sourced timber, the entire structure is as eco-conscious as it is enchanting.
